Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced Information Security Analyst to help build and improve the next generation of AI systems used by public safety agencies across the country. This role sits at the intersection of IT Security, SaaS Application Security, and Security Compliance.
You'll own the evaluation and continuous improvement of production security systems, developing automated pipelines for things like security scans and penetration testing, responding to security questionnaires and RFPs, and managing our compliance frameworks (SOC2 Type 2, NIST, CJIS, etc.). You'll work closely with IT, sales, engineers, and product managers to ensure our systems remain secure, reliable, and trustworthy in real-world public safety environments.
Key Responsibilities
Mange and conduct penetration testing on a regular schedule.
Select, implement, and manage antivirus scanning.
Select, implement, and monitor SIEM tooling.
Assess existing and future software systems for security posture and compliance.
Manage and conduct training programs for role specific security needs (e.g. engineers, general staff, etc.).
Assess existing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans and implement continuous improvements.
Manage and conduct compliance operations to maintain current compliance frameworks and acquire additional certifications as needed.
Respond to security questionnaires and RFPs.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
Must have US citizenship and pass FBI fingerprint and background check in multiple states.
5+ years of experience in security analysis / operations.
Experience managing a compliance process including at least SOC2 / NIST / ISO.
Experience evaluating the security of third-party systems and services / new vendors.
Experience evaluating security concerns unique to AI systems.
Experience using AI in personal and / or business workflows.
Clearance: Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check in multiple states
Nice to Have
Basic software development experience.
Criminal Justice Background.
Public Sector, Government, or Public Safety experience.
