Remote Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPC)

Work Arrangement: Remote/Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

What This Role Looks Like

You’ll work one-on-one with adult clients who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, stress, or significant changes in their personal lives.

Your time will be spent meeting with clients, understanding what brought them to therapy, and helping them work through the issues affecting their day-to-day lives. You’ll set goals together, choose an approach that fits the situation, and revisit the plan as clients make progress or their needs change.

There is also a clinical documentation component to the role, along with appropriate follow-up when a client’s situation raises safety or risk concerns.

Your Clinical Work

  • Hold scheduled therapy sessions with adult clients via telehealth
  • Explore the client’s history, current circumstances, symptoms, and reasons for seeking therapy
  • Work with clients to define clear and achievable goals
  • Apply therapeutic techniques suited to the individual client and their circumstances
  • Reassess treatment when a client’s needs or circumstances change
  • Complete session notes and other required clinical records

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related clinical field
  • Current Connecticut LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license
  • Clinical experience working directly with individuals in a mental health setting
  • Strong ability to build rapport and communicate effectively through virtual care
  • Confidence making independent clinical decisions and managing an ongoing caseload
  • Clear, organized, and dependable documentation practices
  • Understanding of privacy, ethics, and professional responsibilities in telehealth
