Work Setting: Remote/Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will provide clinical services to individuals, couples, and families throughout North Carolina. The role involves conducting assessments, establishing treatment goals, providing therapeutic services, and evaluating client progress over the course of treatment. Clinical concerns may include relationship difficulties, family conflict, major life transitions, anxiety, depression, communication challenges, and emotional regulation. The therapist will use appropriate clinical approaches based on each client’s presenting concerns and treatment needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform
- Complete intake evaluations and gather relevant clinical and psychosocial information
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
- Address relationship, family, emotional, and mental health concerns through appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment goals or interventions when clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment records
- Participate in care coordination when appropriate
- Protect client confidentiality and comply with applicable professional, ethical, and telehealth requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Active LMFT license in North Carolina in good standing
- Previous clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
