Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled CMS Developer with strong Shopify experience to join a growing team and build, maintain, and optimize high-performing eCommerce websites.
This is an ideal opportunity for a developer who is confident working within the Shopify ecosystem and can turn designs and business requirements into responsive, polished, and conversion-focused online experiences.
You’ll work across Shopify theme development, CMS management, integrations, performance optimization, and ongoing website improvements while collaborating with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and storefronts
- Build and modify custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Translate Figma or other design files into responsive, pixel-accurate web pages
- Create and customize Shopify sections, templates, blocks, and reusable components
- Configure products, collections, navigation, metafields, and other Shopify CMS content
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Shopify apps and third-party integrations
- Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and overall performance
- Identify and resolve front-end, theme, and CMS-related bugs
- Implement landing pages and website updates for marketing and eCommerce campaigns
- Ensure websites follow SEO and technical best practices
- Test changes across browsers, devices, and screen sizes before deployment
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and internal stakeholders to deliver website improvements
- Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Shopify Developer, CMS Developer, Front-End Developer, or eCommerce Developer
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and Shopify theme development
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience building responsive and mobile-first websites
- Ability to customize existing Shopify themes beyond basic page-builder functionality
- Experience working with Shopify apps, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Understanding of website performance optimization and technical SEO
- Experience translating designs from Figma into functional web pages
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished, accurate implementations
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify Plus
- Knowledge of Shopify Functions, Storefront API, or custom app integrations
- Experience with Git and version control
- Familiarity with CRO and eCommerce conversion best practices
- Experience working with international eCommerce brands or digital agencies
- Familiarity with other CMS platforms such as WordPress or Webflow
