The listing

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for a Community & Advocacy Manager to help the organization build stronger relationships with the customers and communities that shape the construction industry. In this role, you will lead programs that connect community engagement, customer advocacy, reputation, reviews, and social proof. This role helps us understand what customers are saying, identify the people who are excited to advocate for Dodge, and create repeatable ways to turn strong customer experiences into reviews, testimonials, references, stories, and other forms of credible proof.

The Community & Advocacy Manager serves as an important source of customer and market intelligence, helping teams across Dodge understand emerging questions, feedback, opportunities, and reputational concerns. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong communication and judgment with the ability to build programs, relationships, and processes across teams.

One small thing: Somewhere in your application, tell us about an online community you think does an unusually good job of making people want to participate, and tell us briefly why.

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Director, Brand Marketing.

Preferred Location

This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered.

Travel Requirements

Some travel is required for this role, including on-site support at customer events, conferences, and quarterly trade shows.

Essential Functions

What Success Looks Like

  • Build a repeatable approach for identifying and engaging with the communities and conversations that matter to Dodge customers and prospects
  • Develop a healthy pipeline of customer advocates who can participate in reviews, testimonials, references, customer stories, research, events, and other opportunities
  • Strengthen Dodge’s reputation and social proof across relevant third-party platforms and customer touchpoints
  • Create a useful feedback loop that turns community, review, and customer signals into insights for teams across the company

Community, Engagement & Reputation

  • Identify and prioritize the communities, professional networks, industry conversations, review platforms, and other environments where Dodge customers and prospects are active
  • Monitor relevant conversations and customer feedback, identifying recurring themes, emerging concerns, opportunities, and reputational issues
  • Participate in or support Dodge’s participation in relevant conversations, using sound judgment about when to respond, engage an expert or customer, escalate an issue, or continue listening

Customer Advocacy & Social Proof

  • Build and manage a customer advocacy program that identifies strong advocates and matches them with the right opportunities
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Customer Experience, Product Marketing, and other teams to identify customers who can participate in testimonials, reviews, references, customer stories, research, events, webinars, and related programs
  • Manage review and reputation initiatives across G2, BBB, and other relevant platforms, including customer outreach, response coordination, and program tracking
  • Maintain clear records of customer participation, permissions, interests, and approved proof so advocacy can be activated consistently across the organization

Community Programs & Activation

  • Help activate customers and subject-matter experts around webinars, events, research, thought leadership, and other Brand programs where community participation can add value
  • Identify opportunities to extend strong customer and community moments into reviews, testimonials, stories, conversations, and other useful content
  • Work across Brand, Events, Product Marketing, Economics and Research, Sales, and Customer Experience to keep community and advocacy opportunities moving

Measurement & Program Operations

  • Track practical measures including community engagement, advocate participation, review performance, reputation and sentiment, and the output of advocacy programs
  • Turn qualitative and quantitative feedback into concise recommendations rather than simply reporting activity
  • Build straightforward processes and documentation that allow these programs to scale

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, communications, community, customer advocacy, customer marketing, reputation management, or a related discipline
  • Experience building or operating programs in at least two areas such as community engagement, customer advocacy, review and reputation management, customer marketing, or public-facing brand communications
  • Excellent writing and communication skills and strong judgment when representing a company publicly
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across teams and turn those relationships into repeatable programs
  • Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines
  • Comfort using qualitative and quantitative information to identify patterns, evaluate program performance, and recommend action
  • Familiarity with review platforms, CRM systems, community and social platforms, project-management tools, or similar technology. Experience with any one specific platform is not required.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, data and analytics, construction, or another complex B2B environment is helpful, but curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter more
