About Spark Advisors
We're building healthcare tech for a system that desperately needs it.
Each year, millions of Americans deal with confusing changes to their Medicare plans that impact their prescriptions, access to care, and pocketbooks. These aren’t just inconveniences – they are potentially life-altering changes that leave seniors medically and financially vulnerable.
Independent Medicare advisors play a crucial role in guiding seniors through this complexity and helping them find the right coverage for their needs. But their ability to be effective healthcare advocates has long been hamstrung by broken tools and outdated systems.
Spark is fixing that. We’re the fastest-growing Medicare platform in the country, combining AI, an industry-leading CRM, and client services to transform how 10,000+ brokers acquire, enroll, and support clients in their local communities.
Join a talent-dense team from Square, Ramp, Yext, Oscar, and Cedar — backed by Primary Ventures and Viewpoint Ventures — that is serious about building technology to expand access to quality healthcare. We offer remote work, sabbaticals, company retreats, and other generous benefits that earned us recognition as one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces of 2025
Healthcare is overdue for innovation. Let’s redefine what its future looks like — together.
Summary
We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to help us turn complex data into meaningful user action. You'll work closely with product, engineering, data, and operations to explore how we can create the best experiences and outcomes for our users. This role sits across execution and discovery, primarily focused on our internal operations team for internal tooling, as well as improving the experience for our agency leaders.
The ideal candidate has experience in data-rich environments such as B2B SaaS, internal tools, or complex operational workflows across different user types. You know how to simplify complexity without losing nuance, and you bring strong UX fundamentals, a collaborative mindset, and a talent for turning insight into impact.
What You'll Do
- Design interaction flows and UI components that help brokers and agency leaders take effective action on key data, like production trends, contracting gaps, or commission issues
- Translate complex datasets and reporting into clear, intuitive workflows, visualizations, and controls
- Conduct user research (discovery interviews, usability tests) and use those findings to shape design decisions and validate UX patterns
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data to ship features across the full product lifecycle, from prototypes through post-launch iteration
- Incorporate AI tools into your design process, such as research synthesis, rapid prototyping, or exploring design directions, and help evolve how the design and product team works with AI day to day
- Contribute reusable components, interaction patterns, and documentation to Spark's design system
- Apply and help refine information architecture and navigation patterns to reduce cognitive load and improve user decision-making
What We're Looking For
- 4-6+ years designing web-based B2B SaaS or internal tools with emphasis on complex workflows and data-rich interfaces
- Portfolio required: expect to show end-to-end projects, design decision-making, user research, user flows, and production UI deliverables.
- Fluency in Figma and eagerness to work with and help evolve AI-assisted design workflows
- Experience contributing to a design system, including components, patterns, and documentation
- Solid understanding of information architecture and how to structure data-heavy experiences for clarity
- Strong UX fundamentals and craft, with growing systems thinking
- Track record collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating design rationale grounded in user and business insight
