Build the growth engine for mental health support that reaches young people when they need it. Run experiments, own the funnel, work with AI daily.

$4,000-$4,500/month | Full-time | 3-4h US overlapMeet Drew, Sonar’s Co-Founder

Sonar is building the everyday support layer missing from mental healthcare. We help young people get support when life happens, not just when an appointment is available. Our 24/7 chat-based wellness coaching pairs real human relationships with AI that helps coaches deliver more personalised, consistent, and responsive support. We work alongside healthcare providers to extend support beyond the clinic, helping young people navigate daily challenges and stay connected between visits.

Watch a short introduction to Sonar

We already support more than 30,000 young people across nine states, with the majority of those we serve covered by Medicaid. Our partnership with Akron Children's Hospital marks an important step in bringing this model into healthcare. Backed by Stanford University, Informed Ventures, HopeLab, and Nina Capital, we've just closed a new funding round and we're entering a new phase of growth. You'll join a fully remote team at a pivotal moment: turning early healthcare traction into a repeatable growth engine and helping shape how a new model of mental health support reaches the people who need it.

We’re looking for a hands-on Growth & Revenue Operations Manager to build and operate the systems that create a qualified pipeline for Sonar’s B2B healthcare growth. You’ll run outbound campaigns, test channels and messages, own CRM and funnel reporting, and turn successful approaches into repeatable playbooks. This is not a quota-carrying closing role.

📋 Build and operate targeted outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, events, partnerships, and other channels for health systems, health plans, and behavioural health organisations

💡 Define and test ICP segments, buyer personas, target-account lists, messages, offers, and calls to action, then turn winning approaches into repeatable playbooks

🧪 Run disciplined growth experiments with clear hypotheses, success metrics, timelines, and next actions

💻 Use AI tools every day for account research, personalisation, copy iteration, workflow automation, and performance analysis, while continuously evaluating new tools

📊 Own CRM and pipeline operations, including data hygiene, lifecycle stages, lead routing, follow-up workflows, attribution, dashboards, and reporting

📈 Analyse funnel performance by channel, segment, campaign, and message, and recommend where the team should invest, iterate, or stop

🤝 Partner closely with our CEO and enterprise sales team on account-based initiatives, sales enablement, campaign follow-through, and a reliable operating cadence

📝 Identify and track relevant county, state, and federal grants and RFPs; assess fit, manage deadlines and requirements, and coordinate submissions and follow-through with internal and external stakeholders

Who you’ll work with

You’ll report to Drew Barvir, our Co-Founder & CEO, and support him and our enterprise sales team by generating qualified opportunities, keeping them organised, and using what you learn to improve our growth efforts.

This role requires 3-4 hours of overlap with US working hours.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need:

✅ 4+ years of experience in growth, demand generation, revenue operations, GTM operations, or sales operations within a B2B organisation

✅ Experience supporting a complex, multi-stakeholder sales motion and working closely with founders or enterprise salespeople

✅ A track record of building outbound programmes from scratch and improving performance through structured experimentation

✅ Strong command of CRM, sales-engagement, enrichment, automation, and reporting tools, with the ability to connect them into a dependable operating system

✅ Strong analytical skills and comfort using spreadsheets, dashboards, and funnel data to identify problems and recommend action

✅ Excellent written communication, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

✅ Fluent in English

Brownie points for:

⭐ Direct experience in US healthcare, digital health, or behavioural health, especially with health systems, health plans, CCBHCs, or CMHCs

⭐ Experience at an early-stage company building a GTM function, channel, or operating process from zero to one

⭐ Experience with account-based marketing, event-driven campaigns, partnerships, or other channels beyond standard cold email

⭐ Working knowledge of SQL, no-code automation platforms, APIs, or data-integration tools

⭐ Personal connection to youth mental health or excitement about building in a regulated, trust-sensitive category

⭐ Experience identifying and supporting responses to government grants, RFPs, or other public-sector funding opportunities, particularly in healthcare or behavioural health

The ideal person brings both creativity and discipline. AI tools are part of how they work every day: researching accounts, writing copy, analysing performance, automating workflows. They translate ideas into testable hypotheses, define success up front, and make decisions based on evidence rather than activity. When something isn't working, they investigate rather than repeat. They're organised, detail-oriented, and create structure from ambiguity, but they're also imaginative enough to see unconventional paths to reach hard-to-access buyers. Most importantly, they follow through reliably and care about the quality of the data and processes behind every result.
