Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Virginia
Full-Time | Remote/Telehealth
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
$115,000–$120,000 per year
A Virginia LPC is needed for a full-time remote counseling role. Most of the work will involve one-on-one sessions with clients who are seeking help with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, or other personal concerns. You will have a regular weekday schedule and responsibility for your own caseload. Along with counseling sessions, the role includes intake work, case notes, follow-up, and referrals when another service may be more appropriate.
Day-to-Day Work
- See clients through scheduled video sessions
- Complete new-client intakes and review relevant history
- Discuss concerns and determine the focus of counseling
- Help clients work through emotional and behavioral challenges
- Keep case notes and records current
- Follow up on changes that come up during treatment
- Refer clients for additional services when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and meet Virginia practice requirements
Requirements
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Virginia
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field
- Experience providing mental health counseling services
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with telehealth technology
- Ability to manage caseloads independently in a remote setting
