The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Solventum is seeking a highly motivated leader for our innovative autonomous coding platform, which uses AI technology to automate accurate coding and reimbursement of health care claims and improve the quality of health care. Our cross-functional agile teams develop medical coding products designed to optimize revenue cycle operations. If you have leadership skills, relevant clinical or technical experience, an urge to automate, and are driven to deliver innovative solutions to customers that can improve patients’ lives, we’d love to talk with you.

  • Own release planning for the product workflow, including creation and prioritization of initiatives and EPICs aligned to roadmap, customer value, and business goals.
  • Lead weekly meta-scrum discussions with Development, Product Analysis, and cross-functional partners to provide business updates, clarify EPICs, and align roadmap execution.
  • Conduct voice-of-customer activities, market research, usage analysis, surveys, and feedback reviews to identify workflow improvements, customer needs, competitor insights, and opportunities to delight customers.
  • Develop product strategy and long-term roadmap direction, including ROI, feature adoption, integration plans, reference site strategy, technology gaps, and innovation opportunities.
  • Identify key performance indicators, track product performance, and develop data visualizations and reports to communicate insights, financials, and product progress to stakeholders.
  • Support business reviews and stakeholder deliverables, including monthly Bowler updates with financials, quarterly marketing roadmap slides, sales updates, and product-level P&L readiness.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to collect VOC, support ROI development, strengthen internal product awareness, contribute to internal forums, and grow the internal brand of the product.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Commercial partners on workflow inquiries, pricing coordination, tender responses, customer-facing updates, product demos, thought leadership, and market-facing product positioning.
  • Manage NPI activities, CMR approvals, quarterly webinar content, and training needs in partnership with internal teams supporting customers and field readiness.
  • Provide demos to stakeholders during development to validate that product functionality meets targets and supports complementary features across related products and workflows.
  • Set clinical and technical direction and establish, prioritize, and work with product development teams.
  • Champion Agile principles throughout the organization.
  • Create an atmosphere of innovation and enable professional growth.
  • Own conflict and change management activities to support team productivity.

 

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND Eight (8) years of clinical software experience.

AND


In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:


  • Eight (8) years of Medical Coding expertise in Outpatient Facility settings (Same Day Surgery, ED, Observation, Ancillary).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to support business decision-making.
  • Coding Certification (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC).
  • Experience using data analysis tools, including SQL, Power BI, and Amazon QuickSight, to query, analyze, and report on data.
  • Experience applying statistical methods and techniques to analyze data and evaluate predictive models.
  • Experience communicating technical and business information to diverse audiences through written, verbal, and presentation formats.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and incorporating user, customer, or stakeholder requirements into business or technical solutions.
  • Experience with web analytics tools.
  • Experience communicating clinical concepts and terminology to technical and non-technical audiences through written, verbal, and presentation formats.

 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

 

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related role.
  • Familiarity with product management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with distributed team members.
  • Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time-efficient manner.
  • Ability to direct and influence others.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $143,200 - $196,900, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
