The listing
The client is expanding its oncology research initiative and seeking an experienced Epic Beacon and Willow Oncology Research Analyst to support an increasing volume of research requests. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building, testing, and maintaining adult oncology treatment protocols and investigational medications across Epic Beacon and Willow Inpatient environments.
This role requires a dual Epic-certified licensed pharmacist with demonstrated hands-on experience designing and implementing Epic research protocols.
Location: 100% Remote (Must align with Eastern Time / NY business hours)
Compensation: $90.00 – $100.00 / hour (W2)
Duration: Contract through February 2027
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain adult oncology treatment protocols and research medications within Epic Beacon and Willow Inpatient systems.
- Track research build requests in the queue, manage project timelines, and regularly present status updates during research committee and team meetings.
- Perform rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on research builds completed by other analysts. Execute thorough validation, integrated testing, and formal change control procedures for all individual build work.
- Work closely with pharmacy, clinical research, and IT teams to ensure research workflows align with clinical operations and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid RPh or PharmD in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Active certification in both Epic Beacon and Epic Willow Inpatient.
- Proven track record of independently building and deploying oncology research protocols in an Epic health system environment.
- Direct build experience in adult oncology workflows.
- Ability to maintain core working hours aligned with EST
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with oncology clinical trials or investigational drug services (IDS) pharmacy workflows.
- Strong familiarity with oncology pharmacy operations and order set maintenance.
