The listing
Join a growing renewable energy business as a Sales Support Coordinator, supporting a Behind the Meter sales team across customer administration, CRM management, contracts, rebates, finance applications, and reporting. You’ll play an important role in keeping sales workflows organised, supporting consultants and ensuring customers receive a professional and seamless experience.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to sales consultants, ensuring customer information and sales activities remain accurate and up to date.
- Make basic customer follow-up calls and send emails regarding appointment confirmations, missing information and next steps.
- Occasionally assist with inbound and outbound sales and support queues.
- Respond to customer enquiries in a positive, professional and timely manner, escalating more complex questions to sales consultants as required.
- Update and maintain accurate customer records, deal stages and notes in HubSpot and other internal systems.
- Ensure key customer and sales documentation is uploaded and stored correctly in relevant systems.
- Prepare and issue contracts as required, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers.
- Process Solar Victoria, NSW loan scheme and other relevant rebate and finance applications from end to end.
- Prepare basic sales activity reports, lead conversion updates and pipeline summaries for the Sales Manager and leadership team.
- Assist with preparing agendas, sales reports and action items for regular sales team meetings.
- Support smooth handovers between sales, operations and installation teams by ensuring systems and records remain accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with sales consultants, marketing and operations teams to support alignment and a consistent customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative tasks and improve the efficiency of sales processes.
- Comply with relevant policies and procedures and contribute to a safe, high-quality and continuously improving work environment.
- Other position-level duties as they arise.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience, is highly regarded.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales coordination and sales administration or a related role is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating with customers by phone and email, are essential.
- Ability to build rapport, actively listen, and understand customer needs is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, is essential.
- Experience using CRM platforms is highly regarded; working knowledge of HubSpot or Genesys is desirable.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines effectively, are essential.
- High attention to detail and accuracy across data entry, reporting and customer records is essential.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence in learning new systems and technical information are essential.
- A collaborative and supportive approach to working with sales and cross-functional teams is essential.
- A strong customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering a positive customer experience are essential.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer sales and service environment is highly regarded.
- An interest in renewable energy and sustainability is desirable.
