About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Office of Adversary Strategy. As a Data Analyst in this organization, you have the privilege of working with various types of cybersecurity data to support our larger mission of stopping breaches from a purposefully adversarial mindset.
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and support the ability to make data-informed decisions across our portfolio. In this role, you will analyze large-scale security telemetry, threat intelligence feeds, and detection data to uncover patterns, improve operations, and support strategic initiatives. You'll work cross-functionally with various product and engineering teams to transform raw security data into actionable insights.

What You'll Do:
- Analyze large volumes of security event data, endpoint telemetry, and threat intelligence feeds to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging threats
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports that track key security metrics
- Translate complex security data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting workflows using SQL, Python, Logscale, or similar tools
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility
- Contribute to the development of KPIs and metrics frameworks for measuring security product performance and adoption
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, adversary behaviors, and industry best practices to inform analysis
What You'll Need:
- Curiosity and a deep desire for continuous learning
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within cybersecurity, IT, or related technical domains
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in querying large, complex, datasets, in particular graph databases
- Experience with tools like Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
- Experience working with large-scale, high-velocity datasets (logs, streaming telemetry, SIEM data)
- Bonus: Understanding of security concepts (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK framework, security operations experience)
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong statistical analysis and quantitative reasoning skills
- Ability to translate ambiguous business/security questions into structured analyses
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
