Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager – North America to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and expanding our footprint within North American accounts—specifically targeting clients requiring IT Services and SAP Solutions.
This position operates remotely from India during North American business hours (night shift in IST). The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing US/Canada clients, closing deals in the IT/SAP domain, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship & Account Management:
- Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with enterprise and mid-market IT & SAP clients across North America.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during US business hours to resolve client queries, track engagement deliverables, and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Business Development & Revenue Growth:
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new project opportunities within existing accounts and target prospective clients in the region.
- Lead sales pitches, proposal development (RFPs/RFIs), contract negotiations, and SOW execution for IT/SAP services.
- SAP & IT Service Delivery Alignment:
- Leverage deep industry awareness of SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, SAP BTP) and IT service models (managed services, staff augmentation, project delivery) to speak credibly with client stakeholders (CIOs, IT Directors, Program Managers).
- Coordinate between offshore technical teams in India and client-side leaders in North America to ensure smooth delivery alignment.
- Pipeline & Strategic Management:
- Manage and report on the sales pipeline, account roadmaps, and key revenue metrics.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years in Business Development, Account Management, or Business Management within the IT Services industry.
- Mandatory: Direct experience working with North American enterprise clients.
- Mandatory: Background in selling or managing SAP solutions/services and general IT/Software consulting services.
- Communication & Cultural Alignment:
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with strong business acumen tailored to North American corporate culture.
- Proven ability to engage C-level executives, directors, and technical stakeholders.
- Availability & Shift Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to work regularly during US Night Shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST or similar part-time night window).
- Work Setup:
- Fully equipped remote setup (high-speed internet, power backup, quiet workspace).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Pre-existing network of IT/SAP client contacts in the North American market.
- Prior experience in hybrid engagement models (Onsite-Offshore delivery).
- Familiarity with sales CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot) and proposal tools.
