How You'll Make an Impact
- Build trusted relationships with commercial lines clients by providing responsive service, guidance, and coverage recommendations.
- Manage new and renewal business by assessing risk exposures, evaluating coverage needs, and placing policies aligned with client goals and underwriting guidelines.
- Quote and write new business opportunities generated through inbound inquiries and referrals.
- Process endorsements, policy changes, and account updates accurately and efficiently to support a seamless client experience.
- Review renewal and expiration reports, develop retention strategies, and collaborate with team members to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities that help clients strengthen their risk management programs and coverage portfolios.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients, producers, underwriters, carriers, and agency leadership to facilitate communication and successful outcomes.

What You Bring
Day One:
- Active Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, or a related client-facing role.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of commercial lines insurance principles, coverages, policies, and underwriting concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and business technology used for client management and communication.
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical business practices.
Valuable Additions:
- Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
- Direct experience managing commercial lines accounts or a commercial lines book of business.
- Familiarity with EPIC Agency Management System.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience identifying cross-selling and coverage expansion opportunities for existing clients.
- Knowledge of carrier guidelines, underwriting practices, and commercial insurance product offerings.
