The listing
TechOp Solutions International is looking for AI/LLM Developer to support the development and implementation of AI initiatives and pilot projects across the program. This individual will collaborate with technical and functional teams to build, test, and mature AI-enabled capabilities from concept through implementation.
Duties:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases, define requirements, and establish measurable success criteria.
- Develop and implement solutions using large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and related technologies.
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of AI-enabled applications.
- Work with technical and functional teams to incorporate user feedback and transition successful pilots into operational capabilities.
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ Years of relevant experience
- Experience developing AI- and LLM-enabled applications
- Strong software engineering and application development background
- Experience supporting solution design, testing, deployment, and integration activities
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting technical and functional stakeholders
- Meet Security Eligibilities
- TSA experience is highly desired
- DHS public trust is strongly preferred and will be prioritized
Preferred Technologies and Skills:
- Python
- AWS serverless architectures
- Amazon Bedrock
- Large language models
- Prompt engineering and model evaluation
- API development and integration
- Experience developing production-ready AI applications
- AI-enabled development tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies
Benefits
The pay range for this role reflects a variety of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: job location, relevant skills and experience, education and certifications, contract-specific requirements, and organizational needs. Final compensation will be determined based on the facts and circumstances of each individual case, and it is not typical for hires to be made at or near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $121,000 – $149,000 annually.
