About the Role:

Our marketing team runs on data across paid acquisition, field marketing and events, affiliate, and content/SEO. None of it means anything until someone turns it into a decision. This role owns that translation.

  • Owning marketing dashboards and datasets across every channel, including the ETL underneath them
  • Building and maintaining multiple attribution views (first-touch, last-touch), and understanding precisely why they disagree
  • Writing Python ETL that survives upstream systems changing underneath it
  • Root-causing anomalies before they reach a stakeholder
  • Turning results into recommendations the marketing team can act on
  • Distrusting your own numbers by default and checking them before anyone else has to
  • Explaining why two valid ways of measuring the same thing disagree, not just reporting both and moving on
  • Using AI tools to move faster, while always knowing when to double-check the output. We run on agentic BI workflows here and expect you to direct them, not just accept whatever comes back
  • Preferring to say "I don't trust this number yet" in a meeting over shipping something polished but wrong

Requirements

About You:

  • 3–5 years in analytics, marketing analytics, or data analyst roles, ideally with direct marketing/growth exposure
  • Strong SQL — comfortable reading and writing complex, multi-CTE queries, and tracing logic through unfamiliar views without a data dictionary
  • Python for data pipelines — not just scripting, but building something a teammate could run again next month
  • Experience with a BI tool at the dataset/semantic-layer level (Superset, Looker, Tableau, Mode) — building metrics and datasets, not only charts
  • Working knowledge of marketing attribution concepts (first-touch, last-touch, multi-touch) and their trade-offs
  • Demonstrated stakeholder communication — you've presented findings to non-technical audiences and adjusted the story, not just the slide design

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and Apache Superset
  • Proven track record of owning analytics across diverse marketing channels, beyond just paid acquisition
  • Practical experience integrating and directing AI agents or tools within production technical workflows, beyond basic conversational assistance
