We are seeking a Patient Engagement Lead who is passionate about improving the patient experience in clinical research and helping studies reach and retain the patients they need.
In this highly collaborative, hands-on role, you will help bring patient recruitment, retention, and engagement plans to life across clinical studies. You’ll work closely with clinical research sites, investigators, study teams, and external partners to turn plans into action, address enrollment challenges, and support meaningful patient engagement throughout the study lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines clinical trial operations experience with a strong understanding of sites, patients, and enrollment. You do not need to come from a traditional Patient Engagement role. We’re interested in candidates who have built relevant experience through site engagement, patient recruitment, clinical operations, enrollment management, or other site-facing clinical research positions.
What You Will Do:
- Drive the execution of patient recruitment, retention, and engagement activities across clinical studies.
- Partner with sites and study teams to identify and address recruitment and retention needs.
- Build strong working relationships with clinical research sites, investigators, and cross-functional partners.
- Coordinate with external vendors supporting patient recruitment, enrollment, and engagement initiatives.
- Help translate study-level patient engagement plans into practical, effective actions.
- Support engagement activities throughout study execution, helping teams respond to evolving enrollment needs.
- Collaborate across therapeutic areas and with global teams to align priorities and keep activities moving forward.
- Bring a site-focused perspective to discussions around recruitment barriers, patient needs, and operational solutions.
- Manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining strong communication and follow-through.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, life sciences, or related field.
- Experience in clinical research or clinical trial operations, with exposure to patient recruitment, retention, enrollment, or engagement.
- Experience working directly with clinical research sites, investigators, and study teams.
- Experience coordinating or managing external vendors supporting clinical trials.
- A strong understanding of the operational realities of clinical trial recruitment and enrollment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to turn plans into action.
- Comfort working across therapeutic areas and with global, cross-functional teams.
