About RocketAMS
RocketAMS is an Australian eCommerce agency started by former Amazon team members. We help brands grow on Amazon. Our team works fully remote across Australia and the Philippines.

About the role
You’ll lead a small team (a “pod”) of Account Specialists who manage our clients’ Amazon accounts. Your job is to help them do their best work: coaching, giving feedback, checking quality, and keeping the pod running smoothly.

You bring the leadership skills. We’ll teach you Amazon.

What you’ll do

  • Run the pod’s weekly routine: 1:1s, stand-ups, and team meetings
  • Coach your team through weekly 1:1s and clear, honest feedback
  • Run performance conversations, and raise issues early with evidence
  • Check client work for quality before it goes out
  • Plan team workload, review timesheets, and arrange leave cover
  • Train new Account Specialists from start to finish
  • Manage one to two client accounts yourself

Your first 90 days

  • Days 1 to 30, learn: learn Amazon basics and how we work. Shadow a Pod Lead for a full week and take on your first client account
  • Days 31 to 60, support: check your pod’s work, answer team questions, run stand-ups, and co-run 1:1s
  • Days 61 to 90, lead: run the pod’s weekly routine and 1:1s on your own, and lead your first performance conversation with support

Pay and growth

  • AUD 1,250 a month to start
  • You’ll start as a Pod Lead in training and are usually signed off within six months
  • Rises to AUD 1,350 a month once you’re signed off
  • Fully remote, with structured training and support

Our hiring process

  • Application review
  • Screening call
  • Interview
  • Trial task (for example, planning a pod’s week and a role-play performance conversation)
  • Final interview

Requirements

Experience

  • 2+ years directly managing four or more people, ideally remote
  • Has taken a performance issue through to an outcome (improvement, PIP, or exit)
  • Has built or fixed a process with a measurable result
  • Has trained someone from scratch to independent

Skills

  • Coaching: can tell a skill gap from an effort gap and acts on both
  • Holds standards: chases deadlines and sends back work that isn’t ready
  • Attention to detail: catches errors in others’ work
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets, and comfortable working with data
  • Data storytelling: turns datasets into a clear commercial story with recommendations
  • Efficiency: uses available tools, including AI and automation, to speed up work and reduce errors
  • Systems thinking: builds frameworks that improve processes and turns directives from the Senior Leadership Team into clear actions for the pod

Also required

  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Available to work full-time, 07:00 to 16:00 Manila time, Monday to Friday
  • Reliable internet and a quiet place to work from home
