MEDITERRANEAN MARKET MANAGER

Remote (Spain) | Full-time

About Triptease

Triptease is on a mission to level the playing field for hotels. In a world dominated by OTAs (Online Travel Agents), we're giving power back to hoteliers – helping them drive more direct bookings, improve margins, and own their guest relationships.

Our platform combines proprietary hotel data, AI-driven marketing tools, and advanced pricing intelligence to give hoteliers an edge. With over £1 billion in direct revenue driven for clients annually and a global presence – this is your chance to be part of something big.

The Role

We are looking for a Mediterranean Market Manager to own and grow Triptease's commercial presence across Spain, Portugal, and Italy — three of the highest-density hotel markets in Europe and collectively one of the largest opportunities in our EMEA portfolio.

This is a full-market ownership role — you are responsible for new business, existing clients, and regional partner relationships across all three territories. There is no dedicated market owner across this cluster today, which means you will be building from a strong but under-served base with real scope to make your mark.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who is a hunter by nature and a consultant by trade. You will focus on high-velocity growth across SMB and Mid-Market segments while developing the partner ecosystem and local brand presence that compounds over time.

You will be remote-based in Spain, alongside the EMEA sales team. This is a field-first role — your markets are built through in-person presence, and travel across the region is expected and budgeted for.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own the full commercial strategy across Spain, Portugal, and Italy — from prospecting through negotiation and close
  • Build and manage a healthy territory pipeline across SMB, SMB+, and Mid-Market hotel segments — independents, boutique groups, and multi-property chains
  • Prioritise and sequence market coverage across three territories, balancing existing client base with greenfield opportunity
  • Represent Triptease at hospitality events, trade shows, and industry forums across the region — including Fitur, BTL, and key Italian hospitality forums
  • Develop and maintain a regional partner network — CRM and RMS providers, management consultancies, and hospitality associations
  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to share market intelligence and shape regional positioning
  • Turn early client wins into reference relationships that generate further pipeline across the cluster

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • This is a quota-carrying sales role. We are looking for a hunter — an individual contributor with a proven track record of building pipeline from scratch and closing against ambitious targets.
  • Fluent in at least two of the three market languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian — you will write executive correspondence, present at industry events, and negotiate in-language
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in hotel tech, travel tech, or adjacent hospitality technology
  • Demonstrated track record closing both high-velocity SMB deals and complex Mid-Market cycles
  • Strong depth in one or two of the target markets: Spain, Portugal, or Italy
  • Existing network within the Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian hospitality markets — Revenue Managers, e-Commerce Directors, General Managers, or hotel group executives
  • Strong outbound discipline — comfortable building pipeline from scratch without relying on inbound lead flow
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across all three markets; a visible, in-market presence is core to success in this region

Bonus Points

  • Direct experience with hospitality buyers in more than one of the three markets
  • Existing relationships within the hotel tech ecosystem — PMS, RMS, channel managers, or regional consultancies
  • Familiarity with metasearch, Google Hotel Ads, or hotel PPC
  • Experience with SPIN, Challenger, and/or MEDDICC selling methodologies
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Gong, or similar revenue tooling

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary of 65000-75000 EUR/year with uncapped commission - (€110K OTE)
  • Remote-first in Spain
  • Travel budget structured around in-market cadence across Spain, Portugal, and Italy
  • Share options in a profitable, fast-growth SaaS business
  • Health and wellness budget, learning budget, and enhanced parental leave
