The listing

Location: Amman, Jordan, with regional responsibility across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq and the wider region. Regular regional travel required.

Work type: Hybrid
Level: Senior Management
Reports to: CEO

The opportunity

A well-established human capital consultancy, headquartered in Amman and working across the region for more than 2 decades, is hiring its Growth & Marketing Manager. The firm works with corporate and institutional clients in learning and development, leadership, assessment, coaching and corporate learning events, and has built a deep base of senior client relationships across Jordan and the region.

The company is now expanding beyond Jordan, with Saudi Arabia as its first priority market and Iraq as its second, and is looking for a senior, commercially minded marketing leader to build the growth engine behind that expansion.

This is not a social media or communications role. The mandate is to connect strategy, brand, thought leadership, content, digital, CRM, events and executive positioning into one measurable engine that generates qualified leads, pipeline and revenue. You will work closely with Business Development and Programs to identify priority markets, sectors and decision-makers, and turn awareness into relationships and commercial opportunities.

You will report directly to the CEO, lead one Marketing Officer, and direct external creative and digital partners.

What you will own

  • Growth strategy and budget. Own the annual and quarterly marketing and growth strategy, translate business priorities into focused campaigns with clear audiences and commercial outcomes, manage the marketing budget, and evaluate return on investment.
  • Regional market entry. Build and execute the go-to-market strategy for priority markets, Saudi Arabia first and Iraq second. Size and prioritise target sectors and accounts, adapt positioning to each market, and grow pipeline and revenue from outside Jordan through campaigns, partnerships, executive events and in-market presence.
  • Lead generation and sales enablement. Make qualified lead generation the central outcome of the function. Define target accounts and decision-makers with Business Development, particularly CEOs, CHROs, HR, Talent and L&D leaders. Build the marketing-to-sales handover process, with agreed qualification criteria, ownership, timelines and conversion tracking, and develop the case studies, credentials and client stories that help the team sell.
  • CRM and audience growth. Turn the existing database into a large, high-quality regional network of senior decision-makers. Audit and clean the current data, segment by geography, industry, seniority and relationship, set governance standards, and build automated engagement journeys that move every contact deliberately toward a sales conversation.
  • Thought leadership and executive positioning. Develop the thought-leadership strategy for the firm and its senior leaders, with distinct content themes per leader. Turn expertise into articles, LinkedIn content, video and interviews, and position the firm as a credible regional voice on human capital, leadership, culture, assessment, learning, future skills, AI and the future of work.
  • Content and digital. Own an integrated content strategy and calendar across all channels, turn programs, events and client work into compelling stories, oversee social media execution, manage internal resources and external agencies, and build dashboards covering engagement, campaign performance, website conversion and lead generation.
  • Executive events and community. Build a calendar of invitation-only executive conversations, roundtables and webinars in Jordan and priority markets, own the full journey from topic and invitations through to follow-up and conversion, and build communities around CEO, CHRO and L&D audiences.
  • Client journey and brand experience. Map and improve the client journey across every touchpoint, and build structured retention, referral, cross-sell and reactivation programs with Sales and Programs.
  • Productization, later phase. In time, package the firm's expertise into clearly defined, market-ready offerings, build the full sales toolkit for each, and tailor offerings for priority sectors and regional markets.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive marketing experience, including significant B2B experience
  • A demonstrated record of generating leads and supporting revenue growth, not only building brand awareness
  • Proven experience entering and growing regional or export markets, with measurable results
  • Strong experience across digital marketing, CRM and database marketing, content and customer journeys
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a marketing budget, assess campaign ROI, and turn performance data into commercial decisions
  • Experience managing internal team members, agencies and external suppliers
  • Excellent professional proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to move from strategy to implementation
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region

Strong advantage

  • Solid understanding of the Saudi and Iraqi business markets, and an established network in either
  • Experience marketing professional services, consulting, HR, learning and development, technology or another knowledge-based B2B service
  • Experience developing thought leadership and executive or personal brands
  • Strong command of LinkedIn and B2B digital engagement
  • Exposure to product marketing or the productization of services

Who thrives here

This role suits someone commercially driven and highly accountable, strategic but willing to execute, and comfortable working directly with founders and senior executives. You will be expected to take ownership, prioritise independently, make resource decisions, challenge the agenda where it needs focus, and treat marketing and sales as one commercial engine. Curiosity about clients and markets, creativity disciplined by measurable outcomes, and the organisation to manage multiple stakeholders at once all matter here.
