Job Title: Business Development Representative (Healthcare & Aesthetics)

Position type: Part-Time (with full-time opportunity)

Work hours: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time

Work days: Monday to Friday

Salary: $6 - $7 per hour

Workplace: Remote

Preferred Candidate Location: El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, and Philippines

Our client, a U.S.-based medical aesthetics practice, is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive patient engagement, convert inquiries into booked appointments, reactivate inactive leads, and close treatment package sales.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in sales, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by measurable results. You'll play a key role in growing the practice by connecting with prospective and existing patients, following up on sales opportunities, and creating a welcoming, professional experience.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales closer with strong appointment-setting skills, a warm and confident phone presence, and the persistence to turn leads into paying customers.

Experience in medical spas, aesthetics, or healthcare is highly preferred, but strong sales professionals from other industries are welcome to apply. Spanish fluency is also highly preferred but not required.

The position starts at 20 hours per week, with the goal of transitioning to full-time as the practice grows. You'll receive direct training, sales scripts, and guidance to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Follow-Up, Appointment Conversion & Sales Closing (Top Priority)

  • Follow up with new inquiries and convert prospective patients into booked appointments.
  • Proactively reconnect with inactive patients, lost leads, and previous inquiries to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound calls and consistent follow-ups to encourage appointment bookings and treatment purchases.
  • Explain available treatments and packages using approved information and sales guidelines.
  • Confidently ask for the sale and help close treatment or package purchases.
  • Send secure payment links, monitor payment status, and follow up on outstanding deposits or purchases.
  • Maintain a warm, persuasive, and professional approach throughout the sales process.
  • Track lead conversions, appointment bookings, and sales performance against agreed goals.

2. Phone Coverage & Patient Communication (Top Priority)

  • Answer incoming and overflow calls using RingCentral.
  • Respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate general information about services, appointments, and next steps.
  • Build rapport with prospective and existing patients through friendly, confident communication.
  • Direct clinical or other specialized inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Document important call details and ensure timely follow-ups.

3. CRM Management & Administrative Support (Top Priority)

  • Maintain accurate patient and lead information in Aesthetic Record CRM.
  • Update lead statuses, document calls, and track follow-up activities.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized practice calendar.
  • Monitor appointment readiness and coordinate necessary follow-ups.
  • Organize sales pipelines and identify leads requiring additional outreach.
  • Provide general administrative and back-office support as needed.

Sales & Lead Management

You'll work with an established database of prospective and existing patients, including:

  • Approximately 5–10 new leads per day, depending on marketing activity.
  • An existing database of approximately 1,000 contacts for follow-up and reactivation.
  • Leads generated through marketing campaigns, social media, email, and other practice channels.

You will not be responsible for sourcing or purchasing lead lists. The client provides leads through Aesthetic Record.

Outbound outreach and lead reactivation will be especially important during the initial part-time arrangement. Lead volumes may increase as marketing campaigns expand, and prompt responses to new leads will be a key priority.

Tools & Platforms

  • Aesthetic Record CRM: Lead management, patient records, appointment scheduling, and follow-up tracking. Training will be provided.
  • RingCentral: Incoming and outgoing calls, patient communication, and sales outreach.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently converting qualified inquiries into booked appointments.
  • Proactively reactivating inactive leads and generating treatment sales.
  • Following through on sales opportunities, payment links, and outstanding deposits.
  • Maintaining professional, welcoming communication with every patient.
  • Keeping CRM records, lead statuses, and follow-up activities accurate and updated.
  • Meeting agreed appointment conversion and sales performance goals.
  • Managing responsibilities independently and adapting to the practice's evolving needs.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven sales experience with demonstrated closing ability.
  • Hands-on experience with appointment setting, lead follow-up, and sales conversion.
  • Experience conducting outbound calls, proactive outreach, and cold calling.
  • Ability to reactivate inactive leads and confidently pursue sales opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong phone etiquette with a friendly, warm, persuasive, and professional approach.
  • Confidence explaining products or services, overcoming objections, and asking for the sale.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when maintaining CRM records and tracking follow-ups.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads, prioritize opportunities, and work toward performance targets.
  • Willingness to learn the client's treatments, packages, sales scripts, and established processes.
  • Familiarity with customer confidentiality and willingness to follow HIPAA requirements.
  • Proactive, persistent, self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to transition from part-time to full-time as business needs grow.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in medical spas, aesthetics, healthcare sales, or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with Aesthetic Record CRM or similar medical spa/aesthetics platforms.
  • Experience selling treatments, service packages, memberships, or other high-value offerings.
  • Experience managing large lead databases and reactivation campaigns.
  • Experience handling patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and front-desk support.
  • Spanish-English bilingual proficiency is highly preferred but not required.

Candidates with strong sales closing experience from other industries are encouraged to apply. Proven sales ability and excellent English communication are more important than industry-specific experience or bilingual proficiency.
