They have an “all-in” disposition towards work, understanding that we are a fast-paced, high-growth organization with evolving priorities. They can excel at both independent tasks and collaborative work, leading with clear and candid communication. They exhibit humble leadership—the ability to drive initiatives forward while remaining excited about continuous learning and development opportunities. They feel strongly about being part of a team that advocates for people to live longer and better lives.
The Role
As Hone has grown, our provider network has expanded beyond 200 providers and is anticipated to double in the next year. Our vision is to be the leading provider of longevity care in America by 2027, and believe a key to that success will be the ongoing development of the providers in our network.
We’re looking for a Director of Clinical Education & Provider Training with a strong background in longevity-based care to help scale training and knowledge across our clinical team. We’re looking for an education-focused clinician (MD, DO, PA, or NP) who will design our onboarding and continuing education program, partner directly with our Medical Director and clinical leadership to translate new protocols and medications into training providers can act on immediately, and define what “excellent” looks like as our network scales.
Primary Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Design, build, and launch a provider onboarding and continuing education program — combining video, text, interactive, and live formats — that gets new providers up to speed quickly and keeps the full network current as protocols evolve.
- Serve as the clinical education partner to Hone’s Medical Director and clinical leadership, translating new treatment protocols, medications, and best practices into training providers can put into practice immediately.
- Facilitate live training sessions, workshops, and online learning modules, and continuously refine them based on provider feedback and performance data.
- Conduct regular needs assessments across the provider network to identify training gaps and emerging educational priorities before they become quality issues.
- Track completion of training activities and provider competency across the network, and own reporting that shows leadership how the program is performing.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Advanced medical/clinical degree - MD, DO, PA, or NP - and experience (5+ years) treating patients in one or more areas of longevity-based medical care that Hone serves, e.g. hormone therapy, weight management, thyroid, menopause and perimenopause.
- Previous experience in healthcare education, training, or related roles, ideally within a telemedicine-centered practice.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional design, and online learning platforms.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Can quickly learn new technology systems and communication tools.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Compensation Range
$150,000–$180,000 for PA/NP candidates; $180,000–$200,000 for MD/DO candidates.
