About Rerun
We're building the data stack for Physical AI. The Rerun viewer is loved by the best robotics and spatial-AI teams. Rerun Hub, our data lakehouse, is in private preview and already managing petabytes of data for early customers.
This is a hands-on, customer-embedded engineering role, right at the sharp end of physical AI. You'll work side by side with our customers over multi-month engagements, making sure the messy complexity of physical data never slows them down.
We want builders. You'll stand up data pipelines and integrations, get customers' data flowing into Rerun, and keep their production systems moving. And by getting deep into their workflows and pain points, you'll help point Rerun's product and engineering teams at the problems that matter most.
This is an early, high-ownership role. You'll help shape how deployments work as we grow.
What you'll do
Run technical discovery and scope solutions for customer problems
Solve hard data and infrastructure problems inside customers' production environments
Feed recurring issues, patterns, and product gaps back to Rerun's engineering and product teams
Coordinate work across Rerun and the customer to keep deployments moving
Backgrounds we're looking for
We care about a strong technical foundation and genuine customer curiosity far more than a job title. You likely come from one of these backgrounds:
Data engineering / data platform engineering. You've built pipelines and worked with large-scale data.
Infrastructure / platform engineering. Solid systems background, plus real curiosity about the product and the customer, not just the infrastructure.
Software engineering with substantial data work. You've spent real time close to data, not just application code.
What we're looking for in you
Strong in Python and hands-on data work
Able to learn fast and work through ambiguity
Comfortable being customer-facing: asking probing questions, surfacing hidden requirements, and coordinating across teams
Genuinely energized by understanding someone else's problem and solving it with them
~30% travel to spend time with customers during deployments
Nice to have
Robotics, autonomy, perception, or sensor-data experience
Open-source contributions or side projects you're proud of
Customer-facing experience
How we work at Rerun
We're a remote company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with a growing hub in San Francisco.
We meet up in person for a week roughly once a quarter.
We're spread across European and US time zones. Rather than one fixed window, each team keeps a few hours of daily overlap that fits where its members are, and every role posting says what that looks like.
We've put together an uncommonly talented tech team, value agency and helpfulness highly, and expect everyone to take broad responsibility for what they build.
We offer competitive cash and equity compensation, six weeks paid vacation, and whatever hardware and software you need to do your job.
Parental leave: 12 weeks full pay for every parent, alongside your local statutory leave entitlements.
