Duties & Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with company goals and monitoring variances.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide strategic insights to senior management.
- Risk Management: Manage financial risks by ensuring compliance with legal requirements and implementing internal controls.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives.
- External Relations: Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate reporting processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial processes and systems improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including executives and external partners.
