The listing
We are looking for an experienced professional to support the quality and production oversight of manufacturing partners across Asia.
This position is ideal for someone who already lives in Asia (preferably China) or is willing to travel extensively across the region. You will become the company's representative at manufacturing sites, ensuring that products are produced in accordance with quality standards, food safety requirements, and internal procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in food manufacturing, quality assurance, food technology, or supplier auditing who enjoy working internationally and independently.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to manufacturing plants and subcontractors across Asia.
- Perform production, quality, and supplier audits.
- Verify production and quality documentation.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Cooperate closely with local factory management and production teams.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to the headquarters.
- Support supplier qualification and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure consistent product quality across all manufacturing locations.
Requirements
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience as a Food Technologist, Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Manager, Food Safety Specialist, Production Auditor, or a similar role.
- Practical knowledge of food production processes.
- Experience conducting quality or supplier audits.
- Good understanding of food safety systems such as HACCP, GMP, GHP, BRCGS, IFS or FSSC 22000.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Asia or current residence in Asia (preferably China).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and build effective relationships with manufacturing partners.
