As a Business Analyst II, you will help turn complex business problems into intuitive, user-focused solutions. This role is well suited to someone who is naturally curious, asks thoughtful questions, uses data to inform decisions, and enjoys partnering across teams to improve how products, processes, and customer experiences come together.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from end users and business partners
  • Query and analyze data to support and influence design and requirement decisions
  • Create clear and concise requirements documentation including use cases
  • Create detailed visual models to support business requirements including workflow diagrams, wireframes and/or fully functional prototypes that meet best practices and usability standards
  • Collaborate with development and quality assurance resources to ensure the business requirements are implemented as intended
  • Communicate technical information clearly and lead collaborative meetings with representatives from various internal departments
  • Clearly and effectively communicate project status to all project stakeholders
  • Create and maintain business requirement documents, user guides, and other relevant documentation
  • Proactively identify business process improvement opportunities
  • Identify ways to improve adoption and engagement of existing UI features
  • Analyze existing UI and suggest improvements to increase usability and overall look and feel
  • Support users in production environment, research issues, root cause analysis, report and log defects when necessary
  • Audit changes once released to production to ensure changes are working as intended

Requirements

Please emphasize the following experience:

  • 3+ years of business analysis experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with a prototyping tool designing front-end web pages.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT-related field.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with Visio or an equivalent diagramming tool.
  • Experience with workflow diagramming.
  • Experience with wireframing or prototyping tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience applying UX best practices.
  • Knowledge of database concepts.
  • Experience with business process modeling.
  • Experience in workers compensation insurance or healthcare industries is a plus.
  • Experience working directly with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, or cross-functional internal departments is a plus.
