About the Role

At Wisevu™ and our sister brands Homevu™ and CharityMarketing.com, we’ve been driving digital marketing success for over 18 years, specializing in SEO, digital PR, AI, content marketing, and web development for healthcare, home services, and charity clients in Canada, the USA, and Europe. 

We are seeking an experienced On-Page SEO Specialist to execute advanced SEO and AI-search optimization campaigns across healthcare and wellness, home services, and charities and nonprofits.

You will work closely with SEO Strategists, content writers, and developers to improve the relevance, authority, usability, and search performance of client websites. This is a hands-on production role focused on translating campaign strategy into properly researched, accurately implemented, and thoroughly reviewed on-page improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end on-page SEO optimization process, from research and planning through implementation, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
  • Analyze keyword opportunities, search intent, competitor pages, and content gaps to identify high-impact optimization opportunities.
  • Create detailed content briefs and review content to ensure accuracy, search intent alignment, topical depth, and SEO best practices.
  • Optimize on-page SEO elements, including metadata, headings, internal linking, page structure, and content organization.
  • Review and validate technical SEO elements, including indexing, canonicalization, structured data, and crawlability.
  • Implement content updates in WordPress or coordinate implementation with Content Writers and Developers, ensuring all recommendations are accurately executed.
  • Monitor optimization performance using SEO tools and recommend ongoing improvements based on data and business impact.
  • Collaborate with SEO Strategists and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality optimizations that improve search visibility, user experience, and conversions.

Requirements

  • At least C1-level (Advanced) English proficiency;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, IT, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • 3+ years of hands-on On-page SEO experience;
  • Experience working in digital marketing, advertising, or SEO agencies; 
  • Strong keyword research, search-intent analysis, competitor analysis, and content strategy skills.;
  • Demonstrated experience creating content optimization briefs and reviewing service or landing-page content;
  • Strong understanding of internal linking, metadata, schema, and website architecture;
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or similar SEO platforms;
  • Hands-on experience updating and optimizing pages in WordPress, including content, metadata, headings, internal links, and basic SEO elements.

Work Timings:

  • 9 AM-5 PM Eastern Time workday (Monday - Friday). Fully remote. Must be able to provide at least 7 hours of overlap.
