The listing
We are looking for a Risk Data Source Lead to join the Risk team and take ownership of how we source, evaluate, and integrate data into our risk decisioning.
Our Risk data function manages the data sources that power our scoring and decisioning models across the business. We're now looking for a lead to bring structure, ownership, and a clear disruption agenda to this space.
Challenges that await you:
- Own the end-to-end relationship with external data vendors: sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts and partnerships
- Drive cross-functional projects to integrate new and existing data sources into production, coordinating closely with Data Science, Modeling, and IT teams
- Define and track KPIs for the data sourcing function, identifying opportunities to significantly cut costs or improve model quality (not just incremental optimization)
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to align priorities and unblock delivery timelines
- Build and maintain visibility into the full vendor pipeline — costs, coverage, and impact of each data source
What makes you a great fit:
- Proven vendor and partnership management skills — comfortable negotiating and managing external relationships end-to-end
- Strong project/delivery management experience, particularly leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority over delivery teams
- Solid working understanding of data analytics fundamentals — enough to set tasks for analysts and evaluate the potential impact of a new data source
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python (and ability to use AI tools to work with data independently)
- B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
Your bonus skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, finance, or economics; a Master’s degree is highly advantageous
- Spanish language skills
- Innovative Spirit: A commitment to creativity and groundbreaking solutions
- Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication
- Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community
- Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together
- High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who date to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances
- Relocation support to one of our hubs with assistance for the employee and their family
- Flexible work from one of our offices or remote
- Healthcare Coverage
- Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
- Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements
- Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
