As we continue to grow and expand our global presence, we are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Licensing Specialist to support our legal operations across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance roles within FinTech, Crypto, FX, or Payments
- Practical experience managing end-to-end licensing projects — from regulatory analysis and documentation preparation to obtaining licenses and launching operations Ability to conduct regulatory research and interpret requirements from different regulators
- High level of ownership, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple processes with strict deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and ability to independently solve complex regulatory challenges
- English proficiency sufficient for working with international consultants, legal documentation, and regulatory materials
Responsibilities
- End-to-end licensing project management: manage financial licensing processes across different jurisdictions — from analyzing regulatory requirements and selecting the optimal approach to obtaining licenses and launching operations
- Regulatory research & jurisdiction analysis: conduct in-depth research of regulatory requirements, including licensing requirements, corporate structures, substance requirements, tax considerations, and operational limitations
- Licensing documentation preparation & management: coordinate document collection (including apostilles and corporate documents), prepare and control submission-ready document packages according to regulatory deadlines
- External advisors & stakeholder coordination: communicate with local lawyers, consultants, registration agents, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of all licensing stages
- Corporate structuring & compliance support: analyze existing structures, prepare and adapt corporate documents, AML/CFT policies, Risk Management frameworks, and other internal policies according to regulatory requirements
- Banking & PSP onboarding: support corporate bank account opening processes, communicate with banks, EMIs, and PSPs, prepare KYB documentation, and ensure payment infrastructure readiness
- Licensing launch management: ensure business readiness after license approval — including accounts, PSP integrations, internal processes, and client onboarding flows.
- Stakeholder management: independently coordinate communication with regulators, external consultants, and internal teams throughout licensing projects

Role mission
To act as the legal "engine" of the company’s global growth. Your mission is to secure financial licenses and establish fiat infrastructure in new jurisdictions with maximum speed and precision. You are responsible for navigating regulatory landscapes, ensuring full documentation readiness, and executing a seamless Soft Handover to local compliance teams once the market is live.
Requirements hard skills
Legal Background: 1+ year of experience in Law (FinTech, FX, Crypto, or International Corporate Law preferred).
Licensing Expertise: Proven track record or deep theoretical understanding of EMI, VASP, or Investment Firm licensing.
Corporate Secretarial Skills: Proficiency in managing complex corporate structures and shareholders documentation.
Regulatory Fluency: Ability to interpret statutes and guidelines from diverse regulators (FCA, CySEC, FSC, etc.).
Strong knowledge of international laws, with experience in multi-jurisdictional compliance.
Experience with account openings and relationship management for EMIs, banks, and PSPs.

Responsibilities
End-to-End Licensing: Leading the application process for financial licenses in various global jurisdictions.
Banking & PSP Onboarding: Managing the KYB (Know Your Business) process and legal negotiations to open corporate accounts and payment channels.
Legal Research & Gap Analysis: Identifying the delta between current corporate structures and new regulatory requirements.
Drafting & Localization: Preparing and fine-tuning corporate documents, internal policies (AML/CFT, Risk), and UBO structures.
Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact for regulators, legal consultants, and internal Project Managers during the expansion phase.
Will be a plus
Diploma-level professional qualification in Compliance or AML (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, CISI)
Experience with CFD/FX brokers, MiFID II, or payments licensing.
Launching offices/entities in different locations, cooperation and negotiations with regulators.
