About Green Ocean Property Management
Green Ocean is a Boston-based property management company. Our family has been in Boston real estate.
We manage 1,000+ condominium units and 500+ rental units across 60+ associations, with our own in-house maintenance and general contracting arm. We hold a 4.9-star Google rating, which is not an accident — it comes from answering the phone, following up, and doing what we said we would. Our team is global. Our Boston office handles clients on the ground; a significant part of our operations team works remotely from the Philippines and has done for years. You would be joining an established remote team, not an experiment.
The role
- You are the voice and the follow-through behind our service. You will answer calls from residents, owners, and condo board trustees, understand what they need, log it correctly, and make sure it actually gets done. You will work closely with our front-office team in Boston, covering the US business day.
- This suits someone who is genuinely good on the phone, calm when someone is frustrated, and organised enough that nothing quietly falls through the cracks.
What you will do
- Answer inbound calls from residents, property owners, and trustees, and handle them start to finish
- Log maintenance requests accurately and route them to the right coordinator or vendor
- Keep property, unit, and contact records current in our systems
- Work a shared inbox: respond, follow up, and close out
- Coordinate vendor scheduling and confirm work actually happened
- Follow up on open items so nobody has to chase us twice
- Escalate emergencies immediately, following our protocol
- Flag recurring problems to your manager rather than absorbing them silently
What we need from you
- Currently located in the Philippines — this is a requirement, not a preference
- Excellent spoken English. This role is on the phone with US callers every day
- Available during US Eastern business hours (roughly 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Time). This is a night shift and we
want you to be sure about that before you apply
- 2+ years in customer support, BPO, virtual assistance, property management, or similar
- Comfortable learning new software quickly
- A reliable home setup: stable internet (please state your speed), a quiet place to take calls, and a plan for power and
internet outages
- Clear written English for email and internal notes
Nice to have
- Experience with US property management, real estate, or HOA/condo associations
- Familiarity with Buildium, Property Meld, Slack, or similar tools
- Experience on a US-hours schedule
What we offer
- Compensation: [YOU NEED TO FILL THIS IN]
- Long-term, full-time remote role with an established company, not project work
- A real team — you will have a manager, colleagues, and proper onboarding
- Room to grow: several of our coordinators have moved into specialist and management roles
