The listing
We are looking for a Senior WebCenter / Content & Records Management SME to own the enterprise document and records-management solution using Oracle WebCenter Content/Records Management (along with Oracle Content Management where approved). You will oversee the full records lifecycle—including capture, classification, versioning, search, bilingual/Arabic capability, OCR, retention, legal hold, archival, and disposition—while integrating it cleanly with Oracle Fusion and approved platform extensions.
This is not a generic document-management role. It requires deep Oracle WebCenter expertise combined with records-governance capability, bilingual search/OCR awareness, security, and integration with Fusion, OIC, and custom extensions.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform & Solution Ownership: Own enterprise document and records-management design, implementation, and configuration baselines using Oracle WebCenter Content/Records Management.
- Lifecycle & Metadata Design: Define document capture, metadata/taxonomy/classification models, versioning, access controls, and search requirements.
- Records Governance: Establish records declaration, retention schedules, legal holds, archival, disposition, and audit evidence in alignment with business records owners.
- OCR & Bilingual Support: Confirm detailed requirements for OCR, bilingual/Arabic search requirements, and terminology validation.
- System Integrations: Design document integrations with Oracle Fusion attachments, Enterprise Contracts, OIC/API connections, and approved Legal, Audit, Board, or Governance extensions.
- Migration & Testing: Support content migration strategies and object mapping, own system integration testing (SIT) for content/records scope, and support business UAT.
- Security & Compliance: Coordinate with the Security Lead on restricted content, record/field access, privileged content, audit trails, and retention compliance.
- Operational Readiness: Finalize operational procedures, performance metrics, retention/audit controls, administration/user documentation, and handover materials.
Requirements
Requirements (Must-Have Criteria)
- Experience: 8+ years of Oracle WebCenter Content / Records Management and enterprise DMS experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on and lead experience designing and configuring WebCenter Content, document capture, versioning, access control, and search design.
- Records Management Depth: Proven expertise in retention schedules, records declaration, legal holds, archival, disposition, and audit evidence.
- OCR & Search: Practical experience with OCR, enterprise search, and bilingual/Arabic search requirements and terminology governance.
- Integration Knowledge: Experience integrating WebCenter with Oracle Fusion attachments, business processes, OIC/APIs, and APEX/approved extensions.
- Migration & Security: Demonstrated experience supporting content migrations/object mapping and enforcing security for restricted documents, record/field access, and audit trails.
- Lifecycle Ownership: Ability to produce WebCenter configuration baselines, MD.050/MD.070 design inputs, and own testing/handover activities.
Plus Points / Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive enterprise taxonomy and metadata design examples.
- Real-world experience integrating Oracle Fusion (ERP/HCM/SCM) with WebCenter repositories.
- Background in large repository content migrations and structured reconciliation.
- Experience contributing to framework documentation such as RD.011, BF.016, TE.040, and DO.070.
- Strong understanding of production supportability, disaster recovery, and operational readiness for content platforms.
Note: Candidates with only generic SharePoint/DMS experience, WebCenter administration experience lacking records-management depth, or no bilingual search and Fusion integration experience will not be considered.
