The listing
NeoWork is hiring a Restaurant Catering Account Manager for a fully remote contractor engagement with a bilingual restaurant consulting firm in the United States. The firm helps independent restaurants add corporate catering as a second line of business, supported by digital marketing, training and operations manuals, and guidance through zoning and liquor permit processes. The contractor manages a book of up to 18 restaurant clients and reports directly to the firm’s owner.
Role overview
You will meet with each client for a 60-minute working session every week by video and screen share. Between sessions, you will do the work that keeps each client’s catering program growing, including building and maintaining catering assets, tracking performance against each client’s targets, and bringing issues or opportunities to the owner as they arise. This is a self-directed role that requires strong organization across many clients at once.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly 60-minute sessions with each client in English or Spanish.
- Build and update catering menus, per-person pricing, and catering listings.
- Keep each client’s Google Business Profile and website current.
- Write catering procedures, packing guides, and staff training materials.
- Prepare forms and applications for clients to review, sign, and submit themselves. The contractor never signs documents on a client’s behalf.
- Guide clients through local zoning and state liquor permit processes, with the client completing and submitting each application. The contractor provides procedural support only and does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Those questions are referred to the client’s own professionals.
- Track orders and weekly meal volume, and help each client reach their catering targets.
- Keep a session log after every meeting recording the actions taken by the contractor, the actions taken by the client, and any documents the client signed.
- Escalate problems, opportunities, and SEO or social media requests to the owner promptly. SEO and social media work is handled by a separate team member, so these requests route through the owner.
- Work through delegated user access to client accounts. The contractor does not handle client passwords, Social Security numbers, or bank details, and treats all client information and methods as confidential.
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Professional Spanish, strongly preferred.
- At least two years of experience in account management, client success, or marketing, ideally with restaurants, hospitality, or small businesses.
- An MBA or equivalent business experience at that level.
- Comfort with Google Workspace, video meetings, CRM tools, and website editors.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many clients without close supervision.
- Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern business hours, with client sessions mainly scheduled between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 and 4:30 p.m. ET. Candidates in other time zones must confirm they can cover these windows.
