*This position is contingent upon contract award.
Award is anticipated in early 2027, with work beginning shortly after.
Responsibilities
- Serve as owner's representative during vendor-led implementations
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, status reports, issue tracking, and risk and decision logs
- Hold vendors and client staff accountable to agreed scope, schedule, budget and deliverables
- Coordinate client business teams, IT staff, vendors and other third parties
- Identify risks early and run escalation and decision-making with client leadership
- Define acceptance criteria, testing plans, training needs, go-live readiness and post-launch stabilization
Required expertise
- 7+ years managing technology implementation projects
- Has served as owner-side project manager or owner's representative on at least two vendor-led software implementations
- Has managed projects involving multiple business departments and outside vendors at the same time
- Has led user acceptance testing, go-live and post-launch stabilization
- Has recovered at least one at-risk or failing technology project
- Experience with associations, nonprofits or membership organizations
Preferred qualifications
- PMP or PMI-ACP certification
- Experience overseeing AMS, LMS or credentialing system implementations
- Change management experience
