Role Summary
The Key Account Executive will be based in Mumbai and serve as the primary Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for nominated key accounts. This role is responsible for managing high-priority key accounts in West India and select national accounts. The focus is on driving revenue through strategic cross-sell and upsell initiatives, mapping complex organizational hierarchies, and meeting consistent revenue targets.
Reporting Structure
- Report to: National Sales Manager (India)
Key Responsibilities
- Account Strategy: Manage a designated set of key accounts in West India and nationally as required.
- Revenue Generation: Carry a sales quota and hit revenue targets through effective cross-sell and upsell strategies.
- Stakeholder Mapping: Map the overall organization hierarchy of key accounts to identify decision-makers and influencers.
- Commercial Leadership: Act as the Genetec SPOC for all commercial activities related to assigned accounts.
- Sales Execution: Lead client presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing integrated security and operations solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions effectively.
- Forecasting: Prepare and present sales forecasts and strategic recommendations to management.
- Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform localized sales strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in technology sales.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in Video Management Software (VMS) and Access Control within the Physical or Electronic Security sectors.
- Sales Excellence: A proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales quotas.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with CRM software and the MS Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.

- Previous experience in SaaS sales.
- Deep understanding of the security landscape within the Indian market.
