About the Job
You’ll spend most of your day meeting with adults for scheduled therapy sessions. Clients may be dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, grief, or major changes in their lives. Along with therapy, you’ll complete intake work, keep your notes current, and follow up on anything that needs attention between visits. If a client needs another type of service, you’ll help connect them with the right provider or resource.
Main Responsibilities
- Meet with adults for individual therapy sessions
- Complete intake interviews and review client history
- Keep progress notes and other required records up to date
- Follow up on concerns that come up during treatment
- Make referrals when another service is needed
- Maintain client privacy and professional boundaries
- Follow Vermont LICSW requirements
Requirements
- Active Vermont LICSW license
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Prior clinical therapy experience
- Comfortable working independently in a virtual environment
