About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong backend development experience and a proven track record of working with production-ready applications.
You will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a Python-based backend platform with a focus on Chatbot/RAG-related functionality. Experience with AI or RAG is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance robust, scalable Python backend applications and REST APIs
- Design and maintain services and integrations, working with both relational and non-relational databases
- Ensure applications are production-ready and reliable, including deployment, monitoring, logging and troubleshooting
- Contribute to the technical development of a Chatbot/RAG platform
- Support performance, scalability and maintainability of the overall solution
Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience as a Python Backend Developer
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend development
- Proven experience developing and operating production systems
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs and service-oriented architectures
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases; vector databases are a plus
- Very good German language skills
