About the Company
Our client is a US-focused marketing agency specializing in testimonial and social proof marketing. Home services, including heating, cooling, and plumbing, are its primary vertical, with additional clients in healthcare, finance, and other local businesses. Its web projects bring together strategy, Website Design, SEO, AI Engine Optimization, conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience (UX), design, development, and analytics to support clients' online presence and business goals.
The agency works with internal specialists and external web production partners across different time zones to deliver websites and ongoing optimization services. Its team values collaboration, compassion, forward thinking, and thoughtful planning.
About the Role
We are in search of a Digital Project Manager (Web) to manage website, landing page, and web optimization projects from planning and scoping through launch. You will coordinate internal teams, Account Managers, clients, and external production partners while protecting timelines, budgets, quality, and project profitability. Your initial priority will be to take ownership of active projects, understand existing commitments and stakeholders, and maintain clear Asana workflows.
You should understand SEO, answer engine optimization (AEO), CRO, and UX terminology well enough to coordinate specialist work, conduct first-level QA, and prepare proposals using existing templates. Client communication will initially be supported by Account Managers and develop into direct client ownership as you become familiar with the team and projects. This is an evolving role that requires resourcefulness and independent problem-solving, with team support rather than a structured, step-by-step training program.
Responsibilities
Web Project Planning and Scoping: Define deliverables, estimates, budgets, resources, dependencies, and timelines with specialists before committing to projects.
Proposal Development: Prepare and quality-check proposals and presentations using templates and specialist input; support client presentations and obtain owner approval for new website proposals.
End-to-End Project Delivery: Take ownership of active and new projects through launch, keeping stakeholders accountable and aligned on milestones.
Asana and Production Queue Management: Maintain clear tasks, owners, deadlines, and priorities across website builds, optimization projects, and ongoing website update requests.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Risk Management: Coordinate team handoffs and production meetings, anticipate dependencies, and resolve bottlenecks before they disrupt delivery.
Client Communication and Scope Control: Coordinate assets, approvals, and feedback with Account Managers and clients; set review deadlines, follow up proactively, and document the impact of scope changes.
Web Optimization, Quality Assurance, and Launch Readiness: Turn specialist recommendations into production tasks, conduct first-level QA against the brief, and coordinate specialist checks and approvals before launch.
Vendor and Production Partner Management: Allocate work and review vendor tasks for realistic deadlines, dependencies, hours, and staggered delivery; monitor quality, capacity, and performance.
Budget and Profitability Management: Track estimated versus actual hours and costs, flag overruns early, and recommend adjustments to protect project profitability.
Process Improvement and Project Reviews: Improve templates, checklists, and SOPs, and use project debriefs to address recurring delivery issues.
