About the company
Our client is a software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Sell a software product to senior business buyers as part of a newly forming enterprise sales group. The role covers running long, multi-stakeholder deals from first contact through close and renewal, and helping shape how the team plans territories, accounts and its sales process.
What you'll do
- Work alongside a senior manager and one other account executive to build a first dedicated enterprise sales team.
- Manage full sales cycles on large enterprise deals, covering new business, expansion and renewals.
- Engage senior executives across several functions using a structured qualification and deal-management method.
- Document what works and what doesn't in won and lost deals, and turn those lessons into repeatable sales processes.
- Coordinate with solutions consulting, business development, customer success and product teams to grow pipeline and expand accounts over several years.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Five or more years of quota-carrying sales experience.
- Strong tenure, with at least three years in each of the last one or two roles.
- Experience selling a go-to-market software product to sales, marketing or revenue operations leaders.
- A clear, detailed and repeatable enterprise sales process, including multi-threading and navigating executive buyers.
- A track record of closing multiple six-figure deals with large organizations and consistently exceeding quota.
- Fluency in a structured qualification methodology.
- Comfort building account plans and processes where territories are still taking shape.
Bonus points
- Hands-on familiarity with sales data or engagement platforms.
- Experience carrying new business, expansion and renewal targets together.
- Prior experience on an early sales team or founding team where the playbook was still being written.
