Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile products. This role involves translating ideas and requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and polished visual designs, while collaborating closely with product and development teams. The ideal candidate has a good eye for design, a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, and familiarity with tools like Figma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications
- Translate user needs and business requirements into clean, intuitive UI/UX designs
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Conduct basic user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Maintain consistency across design systems, style guides, and brand standards
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and end users
- Stay current on UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Experience designing user interfaces and user experiences for digital products
- Familiarity with Figma (required); experience with other design tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of user-centered design and usability principles
- Strong attention to detail and visual design sensibility
- Strong written and spoken English with a clear, professional, customer-facing communication style
- Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision
- Familiarity with design-to-development handoff tools like Zeplin
- Experience conducting user interviews or usability testing
- Basic knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
