About Our Client
Host Stand Agency is a hospitality technology agency founded by industry veterans. The company acts as an outsourced technology and marketing engine for restaurants, helping independent brands set up, connect, and manage the software platforms they need to be discovered and booked online.
As an early-stage startup, Host Stand Agency offers a unique opportunity to join the core team and help shape the systems, processes, and standards that will support future growth.
Role Overview
As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, connecting, and managing digital platforms that support the online presence and operations of restaurant clients. This role combines SaaS implementation, marketing operations, automation, and data organization, with a strong focus on building scalable systems for the hospitality industry.
You will work across listings, reputation, reservations, websites, CRM, automation, and BI tools to help restaurants get discovered, booked, and managed more effectively online.
Responsibilities
- Set up and configure client accounts across listings, reputation, reservation, ordering, website, and CRM platforms, tailoring each environment to the restaurant’s needs.
- Collect, organize, and structure raw business information from restaurant owners and managers, including descriptions, menus, hours, photos, and operational details.
- Use spreadsheets, forms, and AI tools to clean, standardize, and prepare data for publishing across multiple platforms.
- Connect tools through APIs and no-code automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or n8n, creating integrated workflows between fragmented systems.
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting systems by connecting platform data into BI tools.
- Write SOPs and documentation, and train restaurant staff on how to use the tools clearly and effectively.
- Evaluate new hospitality platforms as they emerge and maintain disciplined credential and access management across client accounts.
Requirements
- Professional-level English, both written and spoken, to communicate with US-based clients and train staff.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring SaaS platforms for a business in any industry.
- Hands-on experience connecting tools through no-code automation and/or direct API work.
- Strong data organization skills, including spreadsheets, naming conventions, structured data, and source-of-truth thinking.
- Understanding of how businesses are discovered online, including Google Business Profile, reviews, listings, and maps.
- Self-management skills and comfort working in an ambiguous startup environment with shifting priorities.
