We are seeking a part-time Senior Business Analyst to support the Business Excellence team of a growing financial-services company specializing in real-estate lending. The team leads initiatives involving operational improvement, technology implementation, automation, and business transformation across the lending lifecycle.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who can turn incomplete data and complex operational information into clear analysis, process documentation, and polished presentations. You will execute defined workstreams under the direction of the Director of Business Excellence, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather and validate information.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the structured thinking and deliverable quality typically developed in consulting. You will be expected to produce work that is accurate, well synthesized, and ready for the Director to review and refine. The Director retains ownership of final recommendations, executive communication, and strategic narrative.

Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned business improvement workstreams, managing your deliverables independently and proactively identifying risks, blockers, and questions.
  • Gather, clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources; calculate key metrics and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
  • Interview internal stakeholders, document workflows, and create clear process maps and written procedures that reflect how work is performed.
  • Support business cases by organizing assumptions, evaluating operational and financial impact, and developing preliminary conclusions.
  • Create polished, executive-ready presentations and maintain clear documentation of methodologies, assumptions, decisions, and work status.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, internal consulting, business transformation, operational excellence, or strategy and operations.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including experience working with incomplete or conflicting information.
  • Demonstrated ability to build business cases, analyze processes, create process maps, and develop professional presentations with limited rework.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides; familiarity with process-mapping tools and the ability to learn new business systems quickly.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English, strong internal stakeholder-management skills, and availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
  • Previous experience with a consulting firm or an internal transformation team is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with financial services, technology implementation, automation, or interconnected business systems is a plus.

Benefits

  • Fully remote, part-time engagement for professionals based in Latin America.
  • Direct involvement in high-impact process improvement, technology, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Close collaboration with experienced business and consulting leaders.
  • Potential to increase hours and transition to a full-time, long-term engagement based on performance, mutual fit, and business needs.
