About the company

Our client is a law firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead employer-side litigation matters from the opening of a case through final resolution, owning both strategy and execution. The role also involves advising employer clients on compliance and routine workplace questions while working with partners and fellow associates in a collegial, mentorship-oriented team.

What you'll do

- Run employment disputes end to end, covering individual claims and wage-related or class-wide defense.

- Prepare court filings, written arguments and discovery materials, and shape the overall case approach.

- Conduct witness examinations and represent clients in court, settlement sessions and arbitration.

- Act for employers in proceedings before government agencies.

- Investigate facts, evaluate claims and turn the analysis into practical recommendations for clients.

- Advise employers of different sizes on compliance and everyday workplace issues.

- Work closely with partners and other associates in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

- Optionally take part in business development through writing, webinars and client presentations.

- Solid command of California employment and wage law.

- Sound judgment, initiative and a collaborative style.

- A strong service mindset with prompt, proactive client communication.
